In soccer action, the Medaille men put a scare into five-time national champion Messiah, losing 2-1 in overtime in the NCAA tournament.  Penn St. Altoona's women, undefeated in the regular season, suffered a 1-0 loss to Otterbein in their first trip to the national stage.  Meanwhile, the Frostburg State women dropped a heartbreaker to Swarthmore in the championship game of the ECAC South tournament, losing on penalty kicks by a 5-4 margin.  Medaille's women also lost on penalty kicks (4-2) to RIT in the semifinals of the ECAC Upstate bracket.

At the NCAA Mideast Regional, the Penn St. Behrend men were the highest finishing conference team, placing 14th in a field of 43 teams.  Sophomore Andy Iams was the fastest AMCC man, coming in 34th with a time of 26:25.  For the women, Frostburg State had the strongest conference performance, recording a 14th place team score.  The Bobcats were led by senior Jennifer Patton who came in 30th with a time of 23:24.
