2012-13 MEN'S BASKETBALL
PRESEASON COACHES' POLL

PENN STATE BEHREND IS COACHES' CHOICE
TO WIN MEN'S TITLE

The AMCC men's basketball coaches think Penn State Behrend has what it takes to win be conference champions in 2013.  With five first place votes to their credit, the Lions are still expected to face fierce competition from both La Roche College and Medaille College, who were voted in the #2 and #3 spots in the poll respectively.

Behrend center Russ Conley was voted Preseason Player of the Year.  The senior was named AMCC Co-Player of the Year last season, averaging 16 ppg, 7.3 rpg, and shooting 82% from the free throw line.

The AMCC kicks off conference play on Wednesday, November 28, and the championship will be Saturday, February 23, hosted by the number #1 seed.  The tournament winner will receive the AMCC's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
